Smart Traveling Necessities

Mark and I are sponsors (Godparents) for his lovely niece (Kristin) and her soon to be hubby (Alex) on their nuptials this weekend. We are traveling to the Bay Area for the wedding.

Well the airport is full of people and it’s a holiday weekend - Happy Birthday USA 🇺🇸

The TSA guy who checked my ID and boarding pass at the security line had to do a double take. I took off my mask, smiled and said yep I used to have hair. He laughed and let me go.

My port didn’t make the detectors go off! YAY! I didn’t think it would. I didn’t go through a body scan but I’m curious if they'd see my port and question me about it.

Items I made sure I had with me in my carry on bag pack are:

- antibacterial wipes (had biodegradable ones from Melaleuca)

- mask (mine was from Amazon)

- hand sanitizers (in 3 oz bottles)

- moisturizing hand sanitizing wipes (biodegradable from Melaleuca)

- hand lotion because other hand sanitizers dry out my hands (Melaleuca has Renew in travel size)

- sunscreen (a must especially during summer)

- lip balm (not pictured)

- a water bottle. Keep it empty until you pass security. Then I filled mine with lemonade. I love my Hydroflask (not pictured)

I had to be a smart wellness traveler when going through treatment. Yes I am the Asian that wears a mask 😷 😂 and wiped everything especially that tray at your seat.
