Sleeping after surgery

I started going to Chere’s yoga studio - http://obyoga.com to get some more Iyengar Yoga practice before surgery. Little did I know that all the practice has been helpful with being in a pose to get some sleep.
Rest and relaxation is so needed for your mind, body, and soul to heal. I have a drain tube from surgery which is all part of the healing process. The tube drains into a grenade-like bulb. we have to drain it every 12 hours and record the measurements of liquid that is coming out. So sleeping on your back at 30-45 degree angles is important so that your body can drain properly.
As you can see from the photos of poses I’ve been practicing, that is pretty much how I’ve been sleeping. The healing energy from the others in the studio, their prayers, and Chere’s thoughtful teachings are very much appreciated and worthwhile. Be patient with my body and healing...
Gratitude to Chere Thomas, OB Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, My Higher Power, family, friends, and to all those that are reading this...
