My personal journal with breast cancer #NotHer2

Welcome to Not Her2, my personal journal of my experiences since being diagnosed with breast cancer. I want to use this platform as an opportunity to help educate and inspire my readers. Hopefully we can fight to end breast cancer and we can stop saying,  "Not her too!"

I’m tired. Other than my body is fighting poison on the daily, I wake up either every hour or every couple of hours through the night.

I did a couple of consecutive full days at work this week. I’m worn out the second day and become a couch potatoe with heavy eyes.

Some things I’ve done to help me go back to sleep are:

1. Pray - I have a nice chat with God.

2. Meditate- or listen to meditation. My girlfriend Lisa recommended http://www.lacyyoung.com and gifted me a SoundCloud šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø meditation for healing.

3. Read - Books, magazines, articles online (thanks for the books Joanne)

4. Numbers - count prime numbers only (LOL I’m a numbers gal)

5. Music - listen to soothing instrumentals

6. Cuddle with Ocean - if our fur baby is in bed with me, I’ll run her soft head which relaxes me.

7. Rub my bald head.

8. CBD oil/tincture

Sometimes one will work. Usually I have to try more than one and/or do them multiple times.

I can be awake between 5 minutes to a couple of hours.

It all started with my annual mammogram on 11/2/2018. Then a second mammogram and ultrasound was done on my left breast on 11/30/2018....
