My personal journal with breast cancer #NotHer2

Welcome to Not Her2, my personal journal of my experiences since being diagnosed with breast cancer. I want to use this platform as an opportunity to help educate and inspire my readers. Hopefully we can fight to end breast cancer and we can stop saying,  "Not her too!"

Acupuncture has been one of the things that has been helping me with the various side effects from chemo.

With the 2 surgeries within 2 months, my left shoulder got tight. My range of motion was limiting. I was not able to raise my left arm above my shoulder. Before I can start radiation, I must be able to do raise that arm above my head. Dr. Siavash Jabbari (Radiation Oncologist) referred me to physical therapy. After several sessions within a few weeks along with my home exercises and acupuncture I was able to get my range of motion above my head.

It’s still a lot of daily work but I’m getting it done.

Thank you all for the words of encouragement and motivation along with your prayers and positivity.
