Not Her2

My personal journal with breast cancer #NotHer2

Welcome to Not Her2, my personal journal of my experiences since being diagnosed with breast cancer. I want to use this platform as an opportunity to help educate and inspire my readers. Hopefully we can fight to end breast cancer and we can stop saying,  "Not her too!"

I felt “normal” on Friday after my chemo treatment the day before. So I braved not taking any anti nausea all day. I was able to work a full day and was alert. It felt great!

I did take a Zofran before going to sleep on Friday night in case I did get nauseous. The next day I was still feeling good until Saturday afternoon. My energy started to dip and really had no appetite. The heart burn was also getting uncomfortable so I took an omeprazole and went to bed.

The sun was out on a beautiful Sunday morning. I summoned a little energy to shower and change to hopefully make it outside to enjoy some sun. I took my temperature and I had a 100.4 temperature. Looks like another couch and bed Sunday.
