AC treatment #2 - side effects

Tomorrow I start my 3rd cycle of Adriamycin (Doxorubicin) and Cytoxan. The side effects stayed true from the first cycle so I’m prepared to know what’s ahead after tomorrow’s treatment.

Again my side effects are:

- dry mouth

- constipation

- heart burn

- chemo brain (Gotta laugh at this one because I misplaced my bottle of Zofran)

- fatigue

As you know the other side effects that happened is my hair started to fall off. My scalp was hurting to a point of discomfort.

The other side effect that I noticed started to happen is the darkening or discoloration of my nails. Look pass my dry cuticles and see the dark area on my right thumb and index finger.

Will keep everyone posted if any other side effects happen with the next cycle or changes in what I’m already experienxing.

Thank goodness for the great anti nausea (Zofran) and getting a refill in time for tomorrow.
