So much has happened since my last post. Rather than updating what’s happened in between, I want to inform everyone that I am scheduled to have a mastectomy and sentinel node removal surgery on 10/17 super early with Dr. Barone my surgical oncologist. At the same time Dr. Halls my plastic surgeon will be starting the reconstruction and ADM (Acellular Dermal Mattix).
Where does the 5G come in? My photo is from yesterday’s fun pre-op activity of having a Savi Scout put in. There’s a link below that will help explain what it is. My version is an antennae is inserted next to the “barbell” marker that was put in during my biopsy. This Savi Scout will help Dr. Barone find that node by using an instrument to find it.
I’ll post more now that I’m on disability and will provide an update for all of you.
